Posted: Updated:

The Toyota Motors plant in Princeton reports they had a small fire in the body weld shop.

Officials say the fire alarms went off just before 8:00.

They say the fire caused a couple hundred employees to evacuated that area. All the workers have been allowed back in the building.

Officials say the fire may have started in the heating and air conditioning unit.  They say the plant will have some damage.

Toyota officials say they had to cease production in the east side of the plant. The Sienna mini van is what is produced on that side of the plant.

Toyota officials say they are still assessing the situation.
