EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
25-year-old Ashley Huggins has been arrested by the Evansville Police Department on felony hit and run charges for an incident on September 10th.
Huggins is accused of fleeing the scene of that accident.
The other driver's car flipped onto its side and its driver suffered several injuries. Huggins' daughter was also injured in the crash.
Following the accident officials say Huggins parked on a side street and left her 4-year-old daughter in the car with the child's father. Huggins ran from the car and was not found at that time.
An arrest warrant was issued for Huggins and she was arrested Wednesday night.
CPS was contacted and has been involved in this case.
