MUHLENBERG CO., KY (WFIE) -

A Central City man has been arrested for his involvement in an incident back in August in Muhlenberg County.

The sheriff's office says on August 7th, a man was struck while riding his motorcycle near Kentucky 175 and 181 north.

Authorities say witnesses saw two men try to attack the man on the motorcycle, but he was able to get away.  That's when authorities say the truck caught up to the motorcycle and collided with it.

The sheriff's office says 25-year-old Bryan Case was arrested for his involvement and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and first degree assault.

The investigation is on-going.
