The Kentucky State Police have been investigating the suspicious disappearance of Patricia Calloway since March 1993, and have now charged two with the murder.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Kentucky State Police Special Response Team arrested Vernon and Debra Calloway. They were arrested without incident at their residence on Vine Hill Road outside Hartford.

Vernon Calloway is the ex-brother-in-law to Patricia Calloway. Debra Calloway would be the ex-sister-in-law to Patricia Calloway.

Both Vernon Calloway and Debra Calloway were charged with one count of Murder; one count of Kidnapping; one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence and one count of Retaliation against a Participant in a Legal Process. All four charges are felonies.

They are both lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.

The last place Patricia Calloway was seen was at her place of her employment in Hartford in 1993.
