Federal officials are warning on Monday night that they'll be on the look out for voter fraud on Election Day.
United States Attorney Joe Hogsett announced this afternoon that for the first time eight federal prosecutors will be available throughout the southern district of Indiana to investigate any complaints. Two will be stationed in Evansville and looking into any concerns voiced by voters.
"Some kind of mischief or mayhem is occurring, ballots are being stuffed, illegal voters are casting ballots. In some instances in the past, at least I hope, there have been allegations that votes have been purchased either by money or alcohol," Hogsett said.
A special number is being setup to report voter fraud. We'll have that number available on Election Day.
