Friday, over 70 golfers showed their support for Point Man International Ministries at Helfrich Golf Course.
Point Man is a Christian organization committed to helping veterans and their families cope with post traumatic stress disorder and other combat related issues.
Today's outing brought together vets from all branches of military service for some fun on the links as well as support.
"When you carry around an M16 a 9mm and a shotgun for a period of 365 days in a row, and you see combat for 300 days in a row, then all of the sudden you are back in Evansville Indiana, there are transition issues," said Marine Rhett Gonterman. "And some veterans have a hard time turning off that switch."
Fridays event raised over $15,000. Money that will help host a vets event at Crossroads Christian Church in November.
