The Prayers for Lane Goodwin Walk-A-Thon drew more than 150 supporters on Saturday.

Organizers from Grace Point Church invited the community out to the Harrison High School Football Complex Saturday afternoon.

Walkers filled a memory wall with cards and encouraging messages that were later delivered to Lane.

Lane's family tells 14 News his health hasn't been good this week because he's been losing a lot of blood and required oxygen last night. But, Lane's brother, Landen, says Lane wanted him to go to the walk this afternoon.

"He really wishes that his cancer was gone and he could go play, fish again, and do all that stuff," Landen said.

Team Lane is asking supporters to join them at the 'Curesearch for Children's Cancer Walk' next Saturday at Garvin Park.

We'll have more details on that event throughout the week.
