BOONVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
A parent of a Boonville Middle School student says their daughter was one of a group of girls secretly videotaped inside a girls' locker room.
Police haven't confirmed to 14 News yet that students were recorded, but they say they're continuing their investigation into 30-year-old Andrew Emmons.
Emmons was arrested last month, accused of putting a camera inside the women's faculty restroom.
On Tuesday, a parent tells 14 News they've seen a picture from a video taken inside the locker room, and that it showed young girls, including their daughter.
"It's wrong, wrong on so many levels. You look at this tape and you know all these girls have been violated," said that Boonville parent.
A Boonville Middle School parent whose identity we've concealed says parents are angry and frustrated waiting for more information on who may be responsible for placing a camera inside a girls' locker room.
"We just want some answers. I feel like the prosecutor and everyone is keeping us in the dark and I understand it's an ongoing investigation. I'm so tired of hearing that phrase," the parent said.
Last week, police say they met with parents but wouldn't say why. Parents say it was to identify their kids.
"We get a call from the police department that we have to come up and identify our children in a portion of, I guess, a still frame. That there was a camera found in the locker room," the parent said.
Warrick County Schools Superintendent Brad Schneider says parents are angry and he understands. But he says he still can't release any information before police complete their investigation.
"We would like a speedy end to this just like our parents, just like our community members do, so again, that's why I'm asking for their patience," Schneider said.
The man police say made the secret recordings was released from jail and his bond was returned.
Parents say they want answers.
"However many children, 20 kids. 20 kids that have been violated and he's running around free? To me that's just wrong," the parent said. "It's not a witch hunt. I'm not out to hunt anybody down or get the wrong impression. I'm standing up for the rights of my child, and I feel like the school corporation is not standing up for the rights of the children."
Emmons is out of jail and has not yet been charged by prosecutors. Police say they could wrap-up their investigation as early as this week.
