On Sunday, the local Master Gardeners showcased their work at the State Hospital grounds.

Unfortunately, many of the flowers won't survive Sunday night's frost.

There are 23 gardens including a vegetable garden, which this year produced 10,000 pounds of produce for the Tri-State Food Bank.

Julie Mallory shared some advice with 14 News on keeping a beautiful garden all season long, staggering perennials.

A Master Gardeners class is available at Ivy Tech.
