Evansville police are trying to locate a missing 10-year-old in the area of McGary Middle School. Evansville police are trying to locate a missing 10-year-old in the area of McGary Middle School.

14 NEWS UPDATE: Evansville Police say they have found Elijah Williams. EPD says he was spotted by officers as he was walking in the Arbor's apartment complex. They say he is safe and is being returned to his mother.

Evansville police are trying to locate a missing 10-year-old in the area of McGary Middle School.

Police say Elijah Williams was last seen in the 3500 block of Jackson Ave around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Officials say Williams is a black male, 4'10" and 100lbs.

Authorities say there is no clothing description, but he is believed to be wearing black and blue Nike high tops with blue and red shoestrings.

EPD says officers are canvassing the area right now in an attempt to find Williams.

Officials say right now, there is no indication that Williams was abducted. 

Police tell us they are working to get a picture of Elijah. We will add that picture to this story as soon as we get it.
