ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
The two women working at the Pizza Hut on Campbellton Road in Southwest Atlanta didn't hold back, they shoved a crook into some coolers - and one even hit him with a broom. The entire crime was caught on camera.
The surveillance video shows what seems to be a regular customer just strolling into a pizza hut on Campbellton Road in Southwest Atlanta last month.
He walks up to the counter and before you know it, he leaps over the counter demanding money from the register.
But that's when the clerk had enough - she pushes the robber away from her and punches him right in his face.
"The female employee that was standing beside him she said she noticed that he did not have a fire arm with him and she attacked him," said Atlanta Police Spokesman John Chafee.
But she wasn't the only employee who attacked the robber - a coworker also joined in the fight with a broomstick that they used to poke the crook.
Police said the employees were lucky the criminal didn't pull a weapon during the fight.
"The possibility of him having weapon is there - he could have had one that he did not display. We would want citizens to use caution in a situation like that," Chafee said. "It's best to be a good witness and get a good description of the suspect."
But the pizza clerks weren't done with the thief yet - one began shoving him, by his face, right into the coolers.
Finally the robber decided he had taken enough abuse - he jumped over the counter, and strolled right out of the restaurant like nothing happened.
Atlanta police need your help identifying the pizza robber; if you know who he is, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $2,000 for an arrest and conviction in this case.
