One local business has been hit by burglars for the second time with this week.
Tri-State Machine Incorporated on Evansville's east side was hit again Friday night and this time thieves made off with more than $12,000 in scrap metal.
As we reported earlier in the week, Evansville Police have seen a spike in scrap metal thefts, more than 20 cases this month alone.
Recycling yards say they end up with the ripped off metals because it's hard to prove what's stolen property.
