A Connecticut woman is under arrest after checking out more than a hundred books, videos and magazines from the library where she works and not returning them.

The over-due items are worth more than $3,000.

58-year-old Nancy Harris of Trumbull is facing larceny charges.

Police say she checked out books, DVDs and magazines at the Easton Library while working there, but didn't return them when they were due, despite the fact she collected fines for overdue books in her role as an assistant.

No one at the library was willing to comment, though investigators say there is a happy ending for the borrowed books, most of which are now back on the shelves where they belong.
