VANDERBURGH CO., IN -

Indiana State Police say two people have been arrested after troopers find hundreds of grams of marijuana and bags of cocaine during a traffic stop.

Officials says it happened Thursday afternoon around 3.

ISP says a trooper was patrolling U.S. 41 near I-164 when he stopped the driver of a 1998 Ford SUV for speeding.

Authorities say the vehicle was clocked going 68 mph in a 50 mph zone.

Officials say the driver was identified as 25-year-old Shurrod Strong, of Morganfield, KY, and the front seat passenger was identified as 24-year-old Antonette Glass, of Covington, GA.

ISP says the trooper detected an odor of marijuana inside the vehicle while talking to the driver.

During a search of the vehicle authorities say they found 84 small plastic baggies containing around 84 grams of marijuana, three plastic bags containing over 300 grams of marijuana and 15 baggies containing approximately 10 grams of cocaine.

Strong and Glass were arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where they are currently being held without bond.
