There's a forum in Philpot you may want to attend if you're in the Agriculture business.
It kicks off at 8 Thursday morning.
Organizers say the format of this event is just like a town hall meeting with lots of time for questions and answers.
The Western Kentucky Agriculture Awareness Forum will take place at the Daviess County Lions Club Fairgrounds off Highway 54 in Philpot.
Congressman Brett Guthrie is hosting the event and the Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture is scheduled to attend as well.
This is a way for farmers or others that are interested in agriculture to voice their concerns and hear about what government leaders are doing to address those worries.
This type of industry is big in western Kentucky, so there should be lots to talk about, especially after the hot and dry summer.
The event is open to anyone.
Officials say an eye will have to be kept on the weather, but right now everything is scheduled to last until 10.
