Have a concern about Evansville? There's an app for that.

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Have a problem with the city of Evansville? Roads? Weeds? Well, now, there's an app for that.

On Wednesday, the mayor launched the citizen concern smartphone app. It allows you to report non-emergency complaints and send pictures directly to the city 24 hours a day and then track its progress.

"The citizen calling in with the complaint or issue can speak in their own words. They can send their own photographs. We know a photograph, a picture speaks a thousand words. We think it will make a more efficient means to respond to citizen complaints," Mayor Lloyd Winnecke said.

The mayor's staff will monitor the complaints through the city's website. Then you can read the notes attached by city officials.

If you don't have a smartphone, or access to this app, you can simply call the mayor's office, or submit your complaint through the city's website.
