OPD needs help from community to solve burglary cases

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

The Owensboro Police Department says it recently responded to two Burglary Alarm calls at local pharmacies, and detectives believe the two cases may be related.

OPD says an attempted burglary occurred on September 20 at approximately 11:30 p.m. at King Drug and Home Care, located at 1156 Carter Road. In this case no items were reported stolen as it appears that no entry was made into the business.

Police say the second incident occurred on September 23, shortly before 1:00 a.m. at Nation's Medicines, located at 3030 Burlew Boulevard. Police say in this burglary medication and money was stolen.
