WARRICK CO., IN (WFIE) -
The Warrick County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested a man on Sexual Misconduct with a Minor charges.
Authorities say 62-year-old David Wakeman, of Chandler, was arrested Monday as a result of a joint investigation by the Warrick County Sheriff's Office and Seymour Police Department.
The Seymour Police Department says they received a report in August of allegations of sexual misconduct that had occurred in both Seymour, Indiana and Warrick County.
Detectives from Seymour Police Department say they interviewed the victim and worked with the Warrick County Sheriff's Office to investigate the Warrick County incidents and locate the suspect.
Officials say a warrant was issued in for Wakeman's arrest on charges of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor as a class B felony and Sexual Misconduct with a Minor as a class C felony.
Wakeman was arrested at his home on Monday afternoon.
Officials say he is being held at the Warrick County Jail on a $1,000 cash bond.
Authorities say a warrant has also been issued in Jackson County, Indiana for two class C felony counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.
Wakeman is scheduled to appear in Warrick Superior Court on September 26.
