EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
The Evansville Rescue Mission Thrift Store is having a special sale soon that you might be interested in.
It's all about how much you can stuff in one bag.
Next week, from October 2nd to the 6th, any customer that visits the Rescue Mission's thrift store, gets to participate in their Fall Harvest Bag Sale.
It's located at 2420 Washington Avenue in Evansville.
Here's how it works.
You fill a bag with as many clothing items as you can and then you only have to pay $3.
It's as easy as that.
Household items are not included, of course.
All proceeds go to the Evansville Rescue Mission. They say it's especially important for them to start fundraising during this time of year.
"When you're helping people out in the rescue mission, when people first get there I've seen personally they've got next to nothing and they've gone through rough times.," said Robert Storbeck. "When these people are getting assistance of some sort, they're able to get back on their feet and their attitudes improve."
The Rescue Mission is also hosting a golf scramble on Monday, October 1st at Rolling Hills Golf Club.
