Fired Indiana H.S. coach had inappropriate video on computer

Police are investigating longtime, highly successful Fort Wayne Bishop Luers High School football coach Matt Lindsay after he was fired over inappropriate video clips of students and others found on his computer.

Allen County police issued a statement Thursday saying the investigation is ongoing and no criminal activity on Lindsay's part has been substantiated.

The Fort Wayne-South Bend Catholic Diocese fired Lindsay on Sunday after school officials found the videos. It says none of the videos contained nudity but they were apparently surreptitiously recorded. It says it has turned the videos and other evidence found by school officials to police.

Messages seeking comment were left on Lindsay's cell and home telephones.

Lindsay won nine state titles during his 26 years as the school's head football coach.
