WARRICK CO., IN (WFIE) -

The Warrick County Sheriff's Office needs your help in identifying some people caught stealing on tape.

The sheriff's office says these thefts occurred at the Walmart in Boonville and at the one in Newburgh.

These are separate cases involving a group of three and a group of two individuals.

Detectives say the first theft occurred at the Walmart in Newburgh Saturday night into Sunday morning of August 19th.

Three people pulled up in a white car, two females went inside, browsing the liquor aisle. While the brunette was on the lookout, the blonde put several bottles of alcohol in her purse.

Detectives say both came back later to steal more bottles of alcohol, and on one of those occasions shoved an employee.

"We've had some thefts from our local Walmarts here, which we get on a regular basis, but on this one occasion the suspect came back in on two different occasions. One time even confronting staff and pushing them on the way out. On that theft, we'd really like to try to find them. The fact that they confronted the staff and pushed them, takes it to a little degree higher than just stealing items," said Lt. Mike Wilder, a detective, Warrick county Sheriff's office,

Once they left the store, the third individual was waiting for them in the get away car.

In an unrelated case, detectives say another man and woman stole $700 worth of liquor from the Boonville Walmart.

Detectives say they walked out of the store with a stolen plastic toteful of liquor about a month ago on August 24th.

They were seen leaving in an early 2000 model silver Saturn.
