EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

An Evansville man was arrested on drug charges Friday night when a trooper pulled him over for disregarding a traffic signal.

Indiana State Police say that 24-year-old Nicholas Logsdon was driving on the Lloyd Expressway around 10:30 p.m. Friday night on the west side when troopers pulled him over for not following the signal at the St. Joe intersection.

Troopers say they detected an odor of burnt marijuana when talking to Logsdon. During a search of the vehicle, troopers say they found a plastic bag containing marijuana, a smoking pipe and three prescription bottles without labels. Further investigation determined two of the prescription bottles contained 50 pills of a generic brand of Adderall. The third bottle contained 13 pills of Vyvanse Amphetamine.

Logsdon was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.
