Officers find 20+ lbs of marijuana in KY drug arrest

CALDWELL CO, KY (WFIE) -

Kentucky State Police arrested a Princeton man on several drug charges Friday.

The KSP Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations West Branch was conducting an investigation of illegal drug activity at a home on North Cave Street in Princeton. 

Friday around 11:30 a.m., officers from DESI West and Post 2 in Madisonville searched the home of 32-year-old Charles Dequintin Jr. 

Officers recovered 22 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from inside the home and four marijuana plants that were being grown inside the residence.   

Dequintin is facing charges of trafficking in marijuana, cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
