LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Princess Diana's ivory dress, with lace sleeves and mother of pearl beaded through the gown was un-crated Wednesday morning at the Frazier History Museum.
That's where the 'Diana - A Celebration' exhibit opens to the public Saturday.
Despite the many yards of fabric used and its heavy look, the dress is actually very light in weight, probably about two pounds.
The Diana exhibit will feature dresses from her wardrobe, jewelry, photos and objects from her childhood and of course the wedding gown with that famous 25-foot long train.

The exhibition shows Diana's life from childhood and family history, all the way through her demise.
The wedding gown, and Diana's bridesmaid dresses cost her a little less than $2,000, which her mother paid for.
Now, the dress is worth thousands more, especially after Diana's tragic death in 1997.
The exhibit will stay at the Frazier Museum until January 13.
