Identity released in Mt. Carmel death investigation

MT. CARMEL, IL (WFIE) -

A woman's body has been found at a home in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

Authorities have released the identity of the woman as 50-year-old Reva J. Watts of Mt. Carmel.

The discovery was made at the home in the 500 block of North Walnut Street. Illinois State Police obtained a search warrant for the home, and are investigating.

The Search Warrant was prepared by Wabash County State's Attorney Cassandra Goldman and issued by Circuit Judge David K. Frankland. No further information at this time

An autopsy of Watts was conducted today, and while the cause of death is still undetermined, the coroner says he found no trauma to the body. Right now, it is not being considered "suspicious," but authorities are still in the early stages of the investigation.
