Luck's Opener

Coach Chuck Pagano pins Sunday's 41-21 loss on the Colts' mistakes. Andrew Luck blames himself.

The day after Indy's new franchise quarterback threw three interceptions and lost a fumble, the Colts committed five turnovers and Indianapolis lost its season opener for the third straight year, Pagano told his players they cannot afford a repeat performance.

Players and coaches say the miscues can be cleaned up with better blocking and better tackling.

And Luck, the No. 1 draft pick, insists he learned some valuable lessons against the Bears' tough defense and believes he can clean up the mistakes before Minnesota comes to town next weekend.

But it was a tough way for the Colts' to embark on a new football era.
