LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) - A Lexington mother is facing charges after an incident at a park.
According to police Tanya Johnson, 27, hit her 3 and 6 year old sons with a belt causing several bruises on their bodies. Police say the 3-year-old also suffered a swollen eye when Johnson pushed him into a wall.
The children went to the hospital and there is no word on their condition.
Johnson has been charged with two counts of criminal abuse.
