Evansville's Sycamore Building heading to auction

The Sycamore Building and two parking lots that are located in downtown Evansville are going up for auction. 

Curran Miller Auction Realty, Inc. recently announced the company will sell the properties at absolute auction.

The properties, located at 19 NW 4th Street and 417 Sycamore Street, will be sold on September 25 at 11:00 a.m. on the behalf of the Vanderburgh County Circuit Court.

The property includes a six-story office building containing 54,000 square feet of space and 88 paved parking spaces. Property includes 144' fronting NW 4th Street and 150' fronting Sycamore Street, and 144' fronting NW 5th Street and 150' fronting Sycamore Street.

The property also includes a two-lane drive and canopy formerly used for consumer banking transactions. The building is currently occupied generating over $30,000 per month income based on a triple net lease.

Hugh Miller, President and Auctioneer for Curran Miller Auction Realty, Inc. believes the Sycamore Building and the parking lot will offer investors a great opportunity.

"Downtown Evansville is really gaining momentum in terms of growth and traffic. Obviously the addition of the Ford Center has brought new life to the area. This should be an exciting auction," Miller said.
