Soggy Weekend Guest

The remnants of Hurricane Isaac will provide drought relief at the expense of the Labor Day weekend. Rains will impact the area later today and through Sunday. 1 to 3 inches of needed rainfall through the weekend…especially across southeast Illinois.

Romney Acceptance Speech

Mitt Romney says American needs "jobs, lots of jobs," and he promises to create 12 million of them in tough economic times. Romney accepted the GOP presidential nomination in his speech last night.

Sobriety Checkpoints

A heads up if you're going to be out on the roads this weekend.  Many law enforcement agencies across the Tri-State will be conducting sobriety checkpoints to help keep labor day travelers safe.  Emily is live with the details.
