A pedestrian who was hit by a car on north Main Street Thursday afternoon has died, according to Evansville Police.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Indiana.
Police say the man stepped out in front of the vehicle that hit him. He later died at Deaconess Hospital. His identity hasn't been released.
The preliminary test on the driver came back negative for drugs and alcohol.
