EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
Evansville Police say they arrested a man after he crashed his car while racing another car near Washington and Lodge.
EPD says 25-year-old Torie Carter lost control of his car near Washington and HWY 41. He ended up in the grass along the side of the road.
Police say Carter failed several sobriety tests and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Officials say Carter tested .17 BAC during a chemical test.
Police say no other vehicles were struck when Carter lost control and the other driver involved in the race was not located.
