Mitt Romney Speech

Today is Mitt Romney's turn to step up as he prepares for the most important speech of his Republican presidential campaign -- to his party's convention and an audience of millions. Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan provided a rousing warm-up yesterday, vowing and end to dodging painful budget choices.  We'll have the story from Tampa.

Isaac Update

Isaac has dumped nearly a foot of rain on New Orleans but the city remained essentially watertight as its revamped levee system held. To the north and south, though, people had to be evacuated or rescued as Isaac lingered over Louisiana.

Isaac Days Away

Drought relief from Isaac will arrive late Friday night and during the day Saturday.  Rainfall to the tune of 2 to 4 inches possible Saturday through Labor Day. Some severe storms are possible, along with the potential for flash flooding.

Fall Fest Talent

We're about a month away from the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival in Evansville. The club has hosted the festival since 1921 and it's grown each year--from food to rides and other entertainment. And if you want to be part of the entertainment, now's your chance.  Emily is live with the story.
