Three men accused of looting home of evacuees

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Three men are charged with looting after Biloxi Police say they were found in a home that had been evacuated.

A neighbor called police when they saw the men trying to get into the house on Haise Street.

When police arrived they found one suspect in the home, two other men took off, but were later arrested by officers.

A release from Biloxi Police notes that because the city and the state of Mississippi are under a state of emergency all three suspects were charged with looting, which carries a possible 15 year sentence.

Arrested were 19-year-old Leonardo White, 18-year-old Rokeim White and 21-year-old Michael White.

All three men are being held in the Harrison County Detention Center on at $25,000 bond.
