EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Due to low ticket sales, an event scheduled to be held at the Ford Center has been canceled.

The World's Toughest Rodeo was scheduled to hold a rodeo event on September 1st.

"It's unfortunate that we have to cancel our event in Evansville. I really thought the Evansville market would support our event and buy tickets as an exciting, locally available holiday entertainment option," stated Marla Morehead, Marketing Director of World's Toughest Rodeo.

The rodeo is offering refunds for those who had purchased tickets.

If you purchased your tickets at the Ford Center ticket office, you must return the tickets to the Ford Center ticket office to get your refund.

Those who bought their tickets at the box office can get their refunds on Monday, August 27th, starting at 10:00 a.m.

If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster.com or via phone, your tickets will automatically be refunded to you on Monday.

The ticket office is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

For more information, you can contact Marla Morehead at thr@threehillsrodeo.com or by phone at (563) 652-3326.
