Romaine lettuce on recall distributed to 19 states
A California farm is recalling romaine lettuce that may be tainted with E. Coli bacteria.
A total of 2,095 cases of potentially affected lettuce were distributed to 19 states including Kentucky.
The producers say it was sold as "Tanimura and Antle Field Fresh Wrapped Single Head Romaine."
Tanimura and Antle is asking that if any of the above Romaine is in the possession of consumers, retailers or distributors, the product be disposed of and not consumed.
The only state in our Tri-State area that possibly affected by the lettuce recall is Kentucky. Other states include: AL, AR, AZ, CA, GA, KS, KY, MD, NC, NM, NV, NY, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA and Puerto Rico.
No cases of illness have been reported.
