VANDERBURGH CO., IN (WFIE) -

A man was rudely awakened, Monday afternoon, when his car made an abrupt and unscheduled stop.

Deputies tell us the driver, in his eighties, dozed off while driving.

He was headed around the curve on Big Cynthiana Rd as he crossed St. Wendel Road, and apparently didn't make it.

That's when he rammed into the outside corner of the house.

The driver was taken to Deaconess with, we're told, minor injuries.

No one inside the home was injured.
