VANDERBURGH CO., IN (WFIE) -

In Vanderburgh County on Sunday, dozens of motorcycle riders and drivers came together to raise awareness about mental health.

Participants in Mental Health America's Ride for Recovery started in downtown Evansville and ended up at the Posey County 4-H Fairgrounds for a meal and silent auction.

MHA says one in four people are dealing with a mental health issue.

"It's definitely not that uncommon and I think that goes along with part of the stigma of it. We're hoping to lessen that stigma and break that so people are aware about it and feel more comfortable talking about it and seeking help for it," said Emily Reidford with Mental Health America

This is the fourth year for this event.
