A winning Decades of Dollars ticket has been sold in Kentucky, landing a very lucky player the game's top prize of $250,000 a year for 30 years.
The ticket, sold in Erlanger KY, matches the six numbers drawn from the 47 used in the game. Last night's winning numbers were: 3 –11 –22 –32 –35 –47.
"We're looking forward to greeting Kentucky's second winner of Decades of Dollars," said the Kentucky Lottery's VP of Communications Chip Polston. "The winner should sign the back of their ticket and come to our headquarters in Louisville as soon as possible to claim their prize. We have a four-foot-long check waiting for them!"
A series of security checks at the retailer who sold the ticket will begin early this morning. Once that process is completed - probably around 11:00 AM EST - the name of the retailer will be announced.
