Police and family members have confirmed that a 13-month-old child died on Friday after falling from a counter at Captain D's in Henderson. 14 News spoke to police and the boy's grandfather on Saturday. PoliceMore >>

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
An Evansville mom thought she was just about to order lunch, but the camera rolled as something else was served up at her table.
Her son, a soldier, surprised her with a visit. The soldier is Specialist Jerry Cullman from Indiana National Guard's 381st Military Police Company.
He's been on leave since July 16th from Afghanistan, all a surprise to his mom.
The family tells 14 News after they stopped recording, people at nearby tables stood, clapped, and cheered for two to three minutes.
Specialist's Cullman's last day home was Wednesday. He should return home again in January 2013.
