A state wide silver alert has been issued hoping someone has information on the whereabouts of an Indiana man.

The Speedway Police Department is investigating the disappearance of an adult from Speedway, Indiana. Speedway is suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Douglas H. Denzel is a 59-year-old white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 210 lbs, with short gray hair and brown eyes.

Officials say Denzel was last seen on July 27, 2012 at his residence in Speedway, Indiana, and is believed to be in danger.

It is unknown what type clothing Denzel may be wearing.

Authorities say Denzel may exhibit threatening behavior and should only be approached by law enforcement or qualified medical personnel.

They say he is believed to be driving a 2001, 4-door Dodge Neon, Silver in color with Indiana plate 978FDS.
