For those of you who want to entertain in late summer weather, there's a new family owned business in Evansville called Back Porch Cinema that could help you out.
It's a giant projector screen you can rent for a party, anything from movies to karaoke and even video game tourneys.
It all started when the Leggett family had the idea, similar to a drive-in movie. This idea is mobile.
Back Porch Cinema has been in business just two months now. Their goal is to transform a party with quality professional sound, super-bright HD projection, and staff for the duration of the event.
They want to provide big screen entertainment for you, whether it be movies, video game tournaments, karaoke, sing-a-longs, sporting events, or whatever you can imagine.
The best part of this is that it all started by accident.
"Yeah, I started by accident. My daughter wanted to have a backyard movie party, so I took an old shower curtain, stapled it to a wood frame, put an old projector against it, and some cheap speakers," said Owner Tom Leggett.
Leggett and his family set it up here at Howell Park on Evansville's west side just as an example.
You can take it anywhere, to your backyard or wherever your party is.
