EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

14 News' own Dan Katz and Jackie Monroe along with more than a dozen others, Rocked The Runway to benefit Albion Fellows Bacon Center.

Ellison Fine Jewelry decked them out with bling. Many of them wore outfits from White House, Black Market.

They pumped the bass and told the crew to go dance down the runway and with the crowd cheering, did they ever!

Most importantly, the money raised Friday night funds things like shelter programs, crisis hotlines, and legal advocacy for women in domestic and sexual violence situations.

"All of the money will stay here locally to help those in need. Women everyday are coming forward and saying that they need assistance, they are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and they are turning to us for those services," said Executive Director of the Albion Fellows Bacon Center Candice Perry.

From everyone at 14 News, a big thank you to organizers for letting us be a part of it. We were honored.
