EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

As they prepare to make their debut in the ECHL, the Evansville IceMen have added a new Center to their line-up.

The IceMen announced Thursday that they had agreed to terms with 23-year-old Jason Dale.

Dale spent the past two seasons playing in Bloomington, Illinois as a member of the Prarie Thunder in 2010-11 and a member of the Bloomington Blaze last season, tying his second most goals in a season with 17.

"Jason is a solid, two-way forward who competes extremely hard every night," said GM/Coach Kromm. "He is a terrific skater who has the ability to add some significant offensive punch in our lineup. He is strong on face-offs and is an excellent penalty-killer as well. It will be great to have him on our side as he has always been a thorn in our side the past two years."

Dale previously competed in the ECHL as a member of the Utah Grizzlies in 2009.
