KY graduation rates increase

KENTUCKY (WFIE) -

Kentucky's public high school graduation rates have gone up slightly from 76% to 78%.

Here in the Tri-State, Muhlenberg County had the highest graduation rate of nearly 90%.

Ohio County had the lowest graduation rate which was just over 75%.

The biggest increase was among Hispanic students to 83% from 74%.

Tri-State Counties:
  • Daviess County- 84.3% rate
  • Hancock County- 84.2%
  • Henderson- 82%
  • McLean- 79.1%
  • Muhlenberg- 89.9%
  • Ohio County- 75.3%
  • Union- 82.6%
  • Webster- 89.2%
  • Hopkins- 81%
