The sheriff's department in Hancock County tell 14 News the body of a white male was found in the Ohio River on Sunday near Hawesville.
Authorities say the man was in his 50's and from Indiana. They say the cause of death is drowning and no foul play is suspected.
The sheriff says it will probably take a week to determine the identify of the person.
