The 2012 Ducks on the Ohio still awards its winner even though the weather cancelled the event on the river.
Ducks may like to swim in the rain, but the weather on Saturday afternoon forced the 18th Annual Ducks on the Ohio race from Dress Plaza to the corporate headquarters of Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc.
Ducks on the Ohio officials say winners of the event were selected with a random numbers section program at 2:02 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
They say a total of 17,641 ducks were adopted this year.
The results were as follows:
First Place- $10,000 cash

Second Place- Goalrilla CV54 Basketball System from Escalade Sports

Third Place- Echo Pro Equipment Package from local ECHO equipment dealers
