Presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will make an appearance at an Evansville BBQ restaurant Saturday, ahead of a scheduled fundraiser.
Romney's Press Office says he will be campaigning for Senate Candidate Richard Mourdock at Stepto's Bar-B-Q Shack on First Avenue around 2:50pm.
Romney's fundraiser at the home of American Patriot Group CEO Steven Chancellor is scheduled for 3pm. That time was bumped up from the original 7pm start time.
Among those expected to be in attendance at the fundraiser: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, former Vice President Dan Quayle, Senator Dan Coats, actress Bo Derek and actor/director Ricky Schroeder.
Evansville Police say Romney's motorcade route will not be released ahead of time, but say motorists shouldn't have to deal with long delays on the roads.
Romney is expected to fly into Tri-State Aero on a private plane.
