EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville's Black Buggy closed its doors a little over a week ago leaving people wondering what was going to happen to the building.

Black Buggy property is being purchased by First Federal Savings Bank.

According to bank president, Mike Head, they are going to use the property to expand. The Black Buggy property is right next door to First Federal's corporate headquarters.

Head says that instead of adding on to the existing building they will make renovations to the 16,000 square foot Black Buggy building and use it as an operations center.

Head says the last 18 months has been largest growth the bank has had in their history.
