Officials are at the scene of an accident involving a scooter and a car at the intersection of Lincoln and Weinbach.
EPD say the car and scooter collided. They say the scooter hit the passenger side of the car.
They say the intersection will be shut down for awhile so authorities can reconstruct the accident. It should be back open by 10.
Officials say the driver of the scooter has been taken to the hospital with what appear to be serious injuries. There are no reported injuries for the driver of the car.
