EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

It's now easier to find crime reports in Evansville.

Anyone can access those reports via the EPD website at Evansvillepolice.com.

There's a logo for crime reports in the top right. Click on that, then click on what day you want to look for.

Evansville Police say the reports will be updated every morning during the week and then reports from Friday and over the weekend will go online Monday.

The daily reports include public narratives on all arrests made as well as all reports filed in that reporting period which is about a 24-hour cycle.

EPD says they've had requests from a lot of the neighborhood associations to have an easy way to access police reports on their website and now they have it.

"This is kind of an add-on to somebody that likes to listen to the police scanner to hear what the police are doing, what kind of activity's going on in their community," said EPD Sgt. Jason Cullum. "This is just another way to do that.  We can put all that information out and folks that are interested can read those reports on a daily basis and it allows them to see what kind of service the Evansville Police Department's giving them."

You can also get updates from the Evansville Police Department via their Facebook page and their Twitter account at Evansville PD.
